We operate under the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Our data collection, processing, and storage practices are designed to comply with the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 of Uganda.
EW Concepts Technologies Limited acts as a data controller and processor for the information handled through its platforms, and processes personal data on the basis of the consent and instructions provided by its users and enterprise customers.
We collect the account identifiers, email addresses, credentials, and operational records needed to run our applications. We do not collect biometric or national-identity data unless an enterprise customer explicitly begins a financial or administrative onboarding process that requires it.
Our systems are hosted on secure, reputable cloud infrastructure. Where data is transferred outside Uganda, we apply appropriate safeguards, including contractual protections, in line with the cross-border transfer provisions of the Data Protection and Privacy Act.

These Terms of Service govern access to, and use of, the software platforms and services provided by EW Concepts Technologies Limited.
By creating an account or using our services, the user enters into a binding agreement governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, including the Contracts Act, 2010.
EW Concepts Technologies Limited retains ownership of the source code, designs, and business logic of its platforms, including SaccoKeep, VouchVault, the EFRIS Compliance Suite, and the AI Assistant add-on. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use these platforms under their chosen subscription plan.
Users may not decompile, reverse-engineer, copy, or create unauthorized clones of our software, database designs, or business logic. Any such attempt may result in suspension or termination of the account and appropriate legal action under the laws of Uganda.
Subscription and usage fees may be subject to applicable Ugandan taxes, including Value Added Tax on electronic services and any applicable withholding tax on cross-border software payments. Where required, these charges are calculated and shown at the point of billing.

EW Concepts Technologies Limited applies a defence-in-depth, least-privilege approach across its applications, servers, and databases to protect customer data and financial records.
Our multi-tenant platform runs on PostgreSQL with isolation enforced at the database level through Row-Level Security policies. Every query is filtered so that no organization can view or modify another organization's financial ledgers or records.
User identities and privileges are validated using JSON Web Tokens (JWT) with Role-Based Access Control across all endpoints. Passwords are hashed using the industry-standard bcrypt algorithm with per-user salts.
All traffic between clients and our services is protected with Transport Layer Security (TLS). Sensitive data and credentials are encrypted at rest, and secrets are managed through a dedicated, access-controlled secrets store.
Our deployment pipelines run automated security checks to catch hardcoded secrets and weak code before release. We maintain an allow-list of vetted third-party libraries to reduce the risk of malicious or compromised dependencies.
